Karl und P architects restored and extended, the Haimhauser School in Munich, originally designed by Theodor Fischer (1862 – 1938).

The Architecture Tours Festival, organised through the Bavarian Chamber of Architects, would normally do Open House Tours, of architecture throughout Bavaria, but due to lockdowns in 2021, went online.

We created a sound and visual tour of the Haimhauser School for Karl und P architects. Having to avoid filming while the pupils were present, we made sound recordings of them. We overlaid the sound onto the architecture visuals. This put emphasis on how the structural and design elements, not only contribute to the visual aesthetics of a building but also on how it sounds.
